Section Meeting 2018 Warberg
This year the PhD workshop of the Section Natural Products of the German Society for Plant Sciences offerd Master/Diploma students, Doctoral students and Postdocs the opportunity to present their work on metabolism, biotechnology and ecology of plant natural products in short talks.
The meeting took place on 1 - 3 October 2018 on the Warberg Castle in the Elm.
Section Meeting 2017
In the year 2017 Section's members met on Thuesday, September 19th during the Botanikertagung at Christian-Albrechts-University Kiel, Germany (September 17th to 21th).
Section Meeting 2016
In 2016 Section's members met at the Parkhotel Schloß Meisdorf, Germany, September 11th to 13th. The topics demonstrated the many facets of current research on "Natural Products" and covered a wide diversity of compounds and biochemical pathways, fundamental research as well as biotechnological applications, the detailed characterization of single enzymatic reactions and the assessment of metabolomics patterns.
Section Meeting 2015
In 2015 Section's members met during the Botanikertagung at the technical University of Munich (TUM) in Freising, Germany, where Prof. Dr. Wolfgang Kreis
was elected to be the first speaker of the Section.
Section Meeting 2014
This year the meeting of the young scientists took place as the 1st Eduard Strasburger-Workshop (supported by DBG
) and was entitled "Linking the Biochemistry of Small Natural Products to Ecology and Evolution
". This Postgraduate workshop of the Section Pflanzliche Naturstoffe was held from September 21st to 23rd 2014 at Nuremberg youth hostel located at the Nuremberg Castle. Topics were: Small Natural Products: biochemistry, chemistry, genetics, ecology and evolution.

In the year 2013 Section's members met during the Botanikertagung at Tübingen.
Section Meeting 2012
The Section's meeting entitled Pflanzliche Naturstoffe took place from September 30th to October 2nd 2012 at Michaeliskloster in Hildesheim. Topics were: Biochemistry, genetics, ecology, chemistry, evolution and applications of natural products.
